This year is marching along and we all feel a few steps behind. 2020 for us is a year for learning. Learning to adapt, rally, recharge and hit it again. At some point, we will break through this maze of Covid and rise like the Phoenix from the ashes. In the meantime, the show must go on and thanks to our amazing vendors and couples, love is winning.
In our post today, we wanted to focus on Lighting and Design by Scott. Lighting and Design By Scott is a Denver-based full-service production, design, and entertainment company that combines passion with production expertise to tell your event’s story through lighting and decor.
A word from Scott
In the face of this pandemic where so many businesses are learning to either sink or swim, Lighting and Design by Scott has NOT pivoted. This business is what we know. Weddings and events are our passion. It is all we have done for the past 14 years. We continue to offer the same amazing services and products.
While we are waiting for the world to open back up, we are using this time to add to our inventory including now offering personal and event floral arrangements. We have refurbished and enhanced some of our more popular rental items including our champagne and hedge walls. We have been testing some new effects like our confetti machines, dry ice machine, haze machine and party lights. We have also inherited some products from some of our competitors who have made the tough decision to downsize their business at this time. In an effort to appease guest count restrictions but still put on some amazing parties, we rolled out a variety of all-inclusive “Intimate Events.”
On an average of two to three times a week we sit on zoom calls or webinars with fellow event professionals to research new technology and updates to our industry. We are not wasting this time. We are not changing our path. We will be here for you to help you create the event of your dreams, when the time is right. We look forward to seeing you soon!

A word from Lionscrest
We are very pleased to be open again and hosting weddings for over a month now. The changes have been massive to the event process but we can tell you first hand that it works.
