Now that the holiday season is over I am finally back in the office and ready to start a fresh round of blogs for 2012. To start off the new year I wanted to do a piece on unique lodging options for out of town guests. As I myself no longer live in the Lyons area my husband and I needed a place to getaway while being close to family and friends over the holiday break. We found just the place in Estes Park.


The town of Estes Park is located approximately 20 minutes West of Lyons and is a great tourist destination. With Rocky Mountain National Park, shopping, outdoor activities, wildlife, fishing hiking and more, Estes has a little something for everyone. These units (separate or combined) are great for Lionscrest Manor clients year round.

For our trip we stayed at the Condos at Bobcat Ridge. Our unit was the Aspen Grove with two bedrooms and two baths. This was the perfect size for us, toddler Colton and even had room for Grandma to spend the night. Over the years we have stayed in condos across the US and as a former travel agent I am quite familiar with the good and the bad units out there. This is by far, top on my list! The condo was immaculate, the furnishings offered perfect Colorado charm, the internet was very fast and all of the little touches (like a high chair, pack-n-play, toys, videos, books and so on) really made you feel at home.
